Pancake

Ingredients

 (6 pieces)
Self-raising flour 4oz (100g)
Eggs 2pcs
Flesh Milk 4oz (125ml)
Castor Sugar 1 tablespoon

To Serve

Golden Syrup
Butter

Method

1.  Sieve self-raising flour in a deep bowl, make a well in the center, add sugars and drop in eggs.  Gradually mix in fresh milk, stir well.

2. Drain to remove lumps, keep batter in a jup.

3. Heat a frying pan till hot, add a little oil, pour in sufficient batter, turn and fry until golden brown on both sides.

4. Dish and serve hot cakes with golden syrup and butter.


 

 For variations, sandwich two hot cakes with a layer of red bean paste as filling, and will become a popular (Japanese Sweetie)
